The art collection of the town of Grez-sur-Loing was initiated in 1910 by Fernande SADLER on the advice of her painter friend Charles MOREAU-VAUTHIER (Bourron-Marlotte), in order to decorate the walls of the town hall, which were then considered "too severe".
She encouraged her painter friends to make a donation to enrich the museum's collection. Even today, visiting artists and even individuals and associations make donations to the town hall.
Open
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10am to 12pm and from 4pm to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 12pm.
